As we prepare for victory on November 2nd, the Fire Pelosi Bus Tour has continued across the country meeting with Republican candidates, elected officials, and supporters. One of our recent stops was in Richfield, Ohio, for a special visit to the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 18 Training Center. We had the opportunity to meet with Business Manager Pat Sink and 50 apprentices to discuss the liberal policies that are killing jobs across Ohio and our nation.
Following Richfield, we headed to Meadville, Pennsylvania, for a Fire Pelosi Victory Rally at the Crawford County Republican Headquarters. We were joined by Rob Gleason, State Party Chairman; Mike Kelly, candidate for Pennsylvania’s 3rd Congressional District; Robyn Sye, Crawford County Republican Committee Chairman; State Representative Brad Roae (OH-06), and 75 Republican Party supporters.
Since every candidate needs as many donations as possible, and with so many important races in the “Pine Tree State,” we headed to Portland, Maine, for a State Party fundraiser. Maine Republican leaders Charlie Webster, State Party Chairman; Jan Staples, National Committeewoman; Rick Bennett, National Committeeman; House Minority Leader Josh Tardy (R-22); and State Senator Jonathan Courtney (R-3), joined us and helped raise $50,000.00. These donations will help the Maine Republican Party support our Party’s candidates during the final days leading up to the elections and ensure their success. While in Maine, we also had the privilege to meet with Paul LePage, candidate for Governor, and Dean Scontras, candidate for Maine’s 1st Congressional District.
As the tour continued through the Northeast, we stopped in Concord, New Hampshire, at the State Party Headquarters to meet with Governor John Sununu, New Hampshire State Chairman; Phyllis Woods, New Hampshire National Committeewoman; and Wayne MacDonald, New Hampshire State Vice Chairman. Also joining us were Ken Merrifield, Mayor of Franklin; State Senator Jeb Bradley (NH-03); State Representative John Reagan (NH-01); State Representative Ken Weyler (NH-08); Chris Wood, candidate for New Hampshire State Senate District 15, and more than 50 grassroots activists.
We wrapped up our trip to New Hampshire with a stop at the local Bedford Victory Center. It was an honor to be joined by Governor John Sununu; Ted Gatsas, Mayor of Manchester; Ray White, candidate for New Hampshire State Senate District 9; New Hampshire State Representative Shaun Doherty (NH-27); New Hampshire State Representative Moe Villeneuve (NH-18); Carol Holden, Hillsborough County Commissioner; Cliff Hurst, Manchester Republican Committee Chairman; Steve Stepanek, Hillsborough County Republican Party Chairman; Frances Rice, National Black Republican Association Chairman, and 50 volunteers.
